Hi, I am trying to play Gothic 2 from GOG and installed it with the Heroic Games Launcher but the game crashes with an access violation in the second cutscene. I have googled how to fix it and have downloaded the SystemPack and PlayerKit patches but don't know where to install them or how to install them because I installed the game via the Heroic Launcher.

If I installed the game normally I would just use

but I think Heroic Launcher is using a prefix and to be honest I have no clue how to use prefixes in wine. Can anyone help? The 2 patches are both executable files and I presume add files and overwrite files in the folder.

This thread says that Heroic just uses the default WINE prefix, which is ~/.wine.
