has anyone managed to play GTA V Online with linux?


i have been testing proton and lutris etc but havent had any luck.
i used this how to : https://www.addictivetips.com/ubuntu...to-5-on-linux/

but i couldnt make it work.

anyone with howto?

my distro is Arch linux.
and my system is :

there is some chatter on the net that you get banned if you use GTA V Online with linux. maybe bcus their anti-cheat engine doesnt work.

maybe better to play GTA on windows.

I heard the same thing about Battlefield 1 however, Battlefield 1 is old now. It is from 2016 and they don't care about cheaters.
In any case, I was never able to run Battlefield 1 on Linux.
I don't know about GTA V.

Use CodeWeavers CrossOver, works both campaign and online very well.
