games and sound


Is it possible to play games and listen to music in xmms at the same time like u can in windows?
Also how do i minimise games like alt+tab does in windows?

Depending on the distor, ALT-TAB is sometimes captured to allow switching between applications.... I think GNOME might even default to this behavior... As for sound....yes, you can have any number of apps playing sound at the same time, provided your sound is configured correctly (which it should be by default on most distros, especially if using ALSA) :-)

how do i configure the nvaudio module to be able to play things at the same time?
