Question DirectX games on linux

After being forced to reinstall windows on my dual boot box due to directx probs, i was wondering if any/which directx versions exist for linux... I sure would like to play Flight Sim 04 or Battlefield 2 on linux...

thanks in advance

If you had bothered to search then you'd have found this thread that contains your answer. Please don't expect others do find your information for you in the future, it's much more rewarding to do it yourself.

I've been looking at running win98 games under wine on linux and over at the Whirlpool forum I was given these two links for modifying the free vmware player, it might be of interest

http://johnbokma.com/mexit/2005/10/2...indows-xp.html

and on Wine configuration

One or more may be of use to you
