Counterstrike problem

After i installed winex3, i installed CS and then upgraded to 1.5........however.. after i logged out of kde and then came back in it cated as tho i hadn't opened it before and even prompted me for my cd key, changed the video mode back to default (not OpenGL like i had set it before), and wasn't at version 1.5 any more.

Does anyone know why this happened and what I can do to prevent it form happening again?

Also, the counterstrike menu screen seems to be a little bit choppy.... i didnt know if this was because of my grfx or what, but I did update my nvidida driver to the following:

I have a GeForce3 Ti500
and I installed NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run
Was that the right one?

The latest version of winex should have full support for CS.
I've not tried it yet, so i can't tell if that will solve your problem.

When i tried CS it didn't work at all,,,, Missing sound, choppy graphics etc....
Just make sure that you install it as your user with the Point2Play frontend.
That should do the trick...
