Completed it. It was ok. For anyone who wants to buy it, during the Black Friday period Metro's price on Steam dropped from £24 to £8. It's back to normal now but I guess during the Christmas period there will be another wave of discounts. I'd wait till then. I wouldn't buy it at its full price. Just my 5p.

In your game, you gotta shoot icons of which system?

If you like amiga, you should look at this :
http://www.chiptune.com/
You get a virtual workbench !!

Does workbench also runs on Linux?

The game uses a random background from a folder

parallelrealities put it out a few years back , it is currently unsupported
the last version was " viruskiller-1.03"

the viruses COME FROM the MS windows icons and "eat" your files and "blow up" your linux folders
folders from your $HOME folder are used so ....
So if you have any "odd" adult videos THEY CAN be used if they are in your home folder
any file in your home folder is fair game for the game

the default backgrounds are these

Just bought Game Dev Tycoon from Steam, IMHO the best Indie game I tried in the last weeks, works even on my rather slow laptop and has a fair price. I immediately spend a few hours with the game and had real fun. For everyone who likes that type of game, you should definitely have a look at it.

I also bought Metro in that sale, for 8.99€, IIRC. Game Dev Tycoon costs 9.99€ (normal, no sale), which I think is a fair price for an Indie game.

I've yet to buy it, but SteamWorld Dig is, by all accounts, incredible.

Now that SteamOS is really taking shape, we're likely to have a lot of new titles available on Linux.

I'm really enjoying Half Life 2 Deathmatch and Counter Strike: Source, but I know that DOTA 2 also works. I'm not much of a gamer, but the push for SteamOS boxes really is going to make the Linux desktop a lot more mainstream.
