[SOLVED] tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors(lfs-6.7)

lfs:/mnt/lfs/sources$ tar xvfj binutils-2.20.1.tar.bz2
tar: binutils-2.20.1.tar.bz2: Cannot open: Permission denied
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
what is this error
everytime i am facing

can any good help plz

You do not have permission to read binutils-2.20.1.tar.bz2. Fix the permissions to allow regular users to read the file (chmod ugo+r binutils-2.20.1.tar.bz2). If this is on an NFS mount then you'll probably have to do it on the NFS server.
