checking installed Linux kernel header files... TOO OLD!
configure: error: GNU libc requires kernel header files from
Linux 2.0.10 or later to be installed before configuring.
The kernel header files are found usually in /usr/include/asm and
/usr/include/linux; make sure these directories use files from
Linux 2.0.10 or later. This check uses <linux/version.h>, so
make sure that file was built correctly when installing the kernel header
files. To use kernel headers not from /usr/include/linux, use the
configure option --with-headers.
lfs@ubuntu:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build$ make
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
there is a problem that today when i have started the terminal again then I am not able go inside $LFS/sources
it shows this
lfs@ubuntu:~$ cd $LFS/sources
bash: cd: /mnt/lfs/sources: No such file or directory
Did you mount $LFS? If you (re)boot your computer $LFS (and possibly swap if you set that up) aren't mounted any more.
Mount $LFS and/or swap like you did in chapter 2.4.
BTW: I see that you use Ubuntu as host OS, did you make it compliant as stated in the Host System Requirements chapter. I would suggest using the LFS liveCD, makes things a lot easier.
I have solved it that hesder was there but in /tools/include/include
Then something went wrong in chapter 5.6.
If you need to change any of the commands to make them work something is wrong and you probably cannot continue. You're still at the beginning of the build and I would advise to at least redo 5.6 and what has been done so far, even better would be to start over.
