gwenview not launcing


I upgraded gwenview and I am receiving an error message:

gwenview: symbol lookup error: gwenview: undefined symbol: _ZNK10FitsPlugin12capabilitiesEP9QIODeviceRK10QByteArray


Any ideas?

_ZNK10FitsPlugin12capabilitiesEP9QIODeviceRK10QByteArray means: FitsPlugin::capabilities(QIODevice*, QByteArray const&) const
This is part of the gwenview, so I think there was an error earlier during the build. Or try to make a new, clean build.

Pan64 is correct, un-install and install again - classic IT solution when nothing else works! Good luck

Tried that didn't work,that was literally the first thing I did when this error came about.

ok, so what did you try to build (how did you get that code, from where, which version, ...)
which OS do you have, how did you try to build (exactly)?

in that case better to move the thread to the LFS forum (press report and ask moderators).

paste your cmake config and results before running make. Error is not enough.
