Glibc-2.3.3-lfs-5.1

When I issue the "make install"or "make check" commands for Glibc-2.3.3-lfs-5.1 in LFS version 5.1 using SUSE Pro 9.2 I get the following error:

f:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build/dlfcn:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build/nss:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build/nis:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build/rt:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build/resolv:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build/crypt:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build/linuxthreads /mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build/timezone/zic -d /tools/share/zoneinfo -L /dev/null -y ./yearistype africa
/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build/timezone/zic: error while loading shared libraries: libunwind-x86.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [/tools/share/zoneinfo/Africa/Algiers] Error 127
make[2]: Leaving directory `/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-2.3.3-lfs-5.1/timezone'
make[1]: *** [timezone/subdir_install] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-2.3.3-lfs-5.1'
make: *** [install] Error 2

I tried to install a libunwind rpm but i got the same error. Could someone help me?

Thanks in advance
Cristovao

LFS-5.1 is getting a bit old now. We don't build linuxthreads anymore, LFS-6 uses NPTL. The problem may be caused by trying to build an old version of glibc on a distro with a newer toolchain. Why don't you try the current stable book, LFS-6?
