[SOLVED] Bc: configure: error: readline works only with flex.

I'm building LFS 8.1, chapter 6. When building bc I got this error during configure:

Code:

checking for readline/readline.h... yes
Using the readline library.
configure: error: readline works only with flex.

I have copy-pasted the build instructions.

Are you sure you included this edit?

sed -i -e '/flex/s/as_fn_error/: ;; # &/' configure
