I'm sorry, your message is a bit confusing.
So, you have a linux server. You're going to be configuring samba on it. You have Windows clients on the network. And you want the Windows clients to be able to specify the access privileges and user groups for their shares on the linux server? Is that what you mean?
First off, I'm not sure it sounds like a great idea. Second, I'm not sure how you would implement that. I don't know that samba has that level of granularity between its emulation of windows file sharing and its implementation in terms of linux acl's.
Anyone else want to kick in some thoughts?
