RHEL5 2-Node Apache Cluster w/multiple floating IPs

I'm trying to build a 2-node cluster using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 AP that will host multiple sites (domains) with each having their own IP address.

So far, I have a working 2-node cluster that is properly binding two floating IP addresses to the Apache service. However, only one of the addresses is properly responding with it's web content. The other address simply says that the page can not be found.

So, my first and most important question is:

Is it possible for a single 2-node cluster to have 2 floating IP addresses that will each server their own web content, such as www.example.com and www.example2.com?

I have been searching for documentation and answers online for days, to no resolve.

Thanks!

I think you should determine whether this is really an issue related to clustering, or just a simple Apache web server issue. (From your description, it sounds like the latter.)

Have you checked Apache's access and error logs for clues? Are you using virtualhosts to handle each of the IPs? (If so, how are they defined?)

There have been no logs in the Apache or system logs that are related to this particular issue, and even a tail -f of multiple log files during an attempted connection do not return anything.

We've also logged the sessions from our firewall and watched communication pass between my laptop and the server and we're able to see that there are immediate resets being sent from the server. We still don't know why.

However, I was successful in adding multiple, functional IP addresses for the same domain today. I'm still trying to get the second domain to work (which is what the trouble has been all along), but at least I have some kind of successful multi-IP configuration.

Thank you.
