problem installing RHEL3.0 on HP DL380 g4 hardware.

Dear All,

I have brand new HP DL380G4 hardware with me, I have a modified EL3.0 install CD with me. When I try to this OS with the modified EL3.0 istall CD it is unable to detect my harddisk. Now I have got complete set of Hardisk controller driver CD from HP. What I need is add this driver to the EL3.0 ISO CD so that when I try to install the OS it should detect my hardisk controller and continue with the installation.

I am sure have gotten this figured out by now, but you should always be using the latest update of RHEL available. Your description says DL380 and I know that the DL360
s had an issue with the first release where it wouldn't find the hard drive. Let us know what the issue was.

RHEL3.0 first release does not contain the driver for HP DL 380 G4 controller card.So I first installed the updated 4 and then installed the driver,after it worked fine.
