PHP question


Have created a php page that works under IIS, however when I try to view it through a fedora server with apache it shows an all white page. the html can be viewed on a seperate page, and the php info page can viewed. Also the php was done with dreamweaver 8... any ideas TIA

So you see the same HTML source in your browser for both IIS and Apache?

Were you making this page on Windows? If so, then open it on Linux machine (MC -> F4, for example), and remove the last symbol from every line. Windows are adding an extra symbol to every line you are writing and these symbols are not accepted by Linux.

Save the source files as utf-8. Then you don't have to worry about the carriage return symbol (^m) windows leaves at the end of a line.
