Need to search two domains for password

I have client systems on two different domains that need to access the same server.
Problem is that Samba only looks a one domain controler and if user is not there it fails.
Need a work around so the following would be accepted by Samba.

I.E.
password server = us.mycompany.com
password server = uk.mycompany.com

This way if the user is in the uk domain it would work as well as for the U.S. users.
