Cordialement,

Elise78

Elise78 - could you please translate your words to English. English is the language most of the members have in common and by writing only in French you stop people like me from being able to help or advise you.

Thank you

[Help] Migration from UNIX SCO to Linux or Windows

Hi every body (I feel that in english it was more difficult but not impossible
)

I must survey about migration of our server UNIX SCO with Oracle 7 to Linux Red Hat Enterprise 3.0 ES OR Windows Server 2003 ES witch Oracle 10g One.

The application was developed by our society with Oracle Forms : Pro*C, PL/SQL, SQL ... script Shell, and language C.

In the futur, we expect connect them to Internet for the application. This last is critical for the society (real time in the automobile industry) : on the product line.

Then, a VNC access was retained instead of SSH (Secure Shell) because large security is'nt necessary : not internet connection for the moment.

In brief, I search informations which could seriously orient (direct) my researchs in a way or the other. All help is welcomed.

I thank you advance. Excuse for my french-english

Cordially,

Elise78
