Linux ES v4 and Marvell SATA Controllers

Have a supermicro H8DAR-T motherboard that has the onboard Marvell SATA Controllers...The BIOS picks up the HD but the Linux OS (ES v4 with Update 3) does not see the HD. Went to supermicro site to download the driver they offer from their ftp website. Still no joy. Anyone run into this issue yet? Please advise...

Thanks for the reply...The link you sent was awsome. I was able to get the controller to start working using a similar method. I appreciate you taking the time to find me some help.
