libdb-4.0.so problem


most of the time when i install any rpm onlinux ES-4, an error displays and rpm does not install:

libdb-4.0.so is needed by apr-util-0.9.7-1.i386

this is the package which is require when i install any package

pl tell me what is the problem and any link from where i can obtain this

You have to install the db 4.x packages which are probably available on your installation discs.

can you provide me the link from where i can download the related rpm.i am using red hat linux Es-4.

when I run:
[root@jumbo downloads]# rpm -q db4
db4-4.2.52-7.1

this message appears

& after that when i run the foll. command:

root@jumbo downloads]# rpm -i apr-util-0.9.7-1.i386.rpm
warning: apr-util-0.9.7-1.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 383743f8
error: Failed dependencies:
libdb-4.0.so is needed by apr-util-0.9.7-1.i386



why is it so ???????????/

Don't you have the original discs or use up2date?
