Question I need download red hat enterprise 4 AS

I try download red hat enterprise 4 AS from the red hat official page using DAP 8 but the process is interrumped and the url caduces when I restart the download more than 2 times.

All this ocurrs when I download a disc bigger than 600 MB, with the 1st and 5th discs I haven't not issues.

What's happen with the download?
Someone knows another link from where a can download the red hat enterprise 4 AS...

Thanks!

By the way, I have a free acount (30 days evaluation) with red hat network.

Redhat suggests using Mozilla as the web browser. I too had this issue with IE using DAP. Better use firefox (Mozilla) for fetching the correct URL and it should not have issue. If possible, try to use the firefox only for downloading (On a linux platform).

I already finish

I already finish the downloads, and the number of threads that I was using was a problem too. Using a normal speed is a good choose.

Thanks again.

Steps before download red hat enterprise linux 4 AS

Hi, I got a 30 days evaluation copy downloaded from rhn.redhat.com

Before download it, you need fill the register format for a 30 days evaluation copy and then start the download.

Remember don't use download accelerators at high speed, do it with one or maximum two levels of acceleration.

I hope you find this useful.

If you want RedHat and you don't need support then try Centos or WhiteHat.
They are RedHat without logos or support.

http://www.centos.org/
I use Centos and all the RHEL .rpm packages work. (Use the correct version).

Configure Yum and Yumex and you are good to go.
