Question how to install linux on as400 9604-620 with intel processor

Dear all,

I would like to know more about linux installation on AS400.

As can be seen in ibm homepage on linux,
the AS400 9604-620 is not supported to run linux.

However, that machine has intel processor in it.
Could we just install linux on the intel processor?
Could some body provide some clue, how can we do that?
What would be the best distro to try with minimal effort?

It would be nice if you could share your
experience of running or installing
linux on AS400.

Thank you in advance,

Ade Azurat
