How can I know


Hai friends
My mechine is installed with RHEL5. I am practing NIS server. I configured well and working good. I am able to login users whoever in server and my question is that how can I know which client is connected to NIS server

NIS does not work that way, it provides Information Services to clients, but not from them. NIS is very insecure, you should consider LDAP.
