Enterprise Linux (RHEL) vs OpenSolaris

Guys,

Currently we are running RHEL on our servers at work and things have been fine. However, even so there are those that are proposing Open Solaris because in their words "it's a real OS".

I am opposed to this but would like to research the pros and cons of making the switch. Obviously I'm hoping that there are more pros for staying with RHEL than there are with Open Solaris.

Does anyone know where there might be some pertinent white paper / information on this subject?

Thanks
