Use centos instead.

It's free, unlike the rar file you've got.

RedHat would never distribute their software as rar files because linux doesn't have rar, it's proprietary.

Centos is an unbranded version of RHEL, with updates and you can get the latest version ie RHEL5, except it will be called Centos 5

I already have centOS, but i cant install oracle 10g on it.

I need to instal GeoFrame 4.4, and this software could be installed just on RHEL 4.4.

The person gave the rar file to me has a dvd, i think if he take a iso image of the dvd the problem will be solved.

For the record there is a unrar package available for CentOS and I suspect other distros as well.

yum info unrar
Available Packages
Name : unrar
Arch : x86_64
Version: 3.9.4
Release: 1.el5.rf
Size : 108 k

The unRAR utility is a freeware program, distributed with source code
and developed for extracting, testing and viewing the contents of
archives created with the RAR archiver version 1.50 and above.
