cannot configure dns in rhel 5


hi all,
happy new year 2005
i have rhel 5 installed on dell vostro 1400 laptop.i want to configure
dns.i have installed bind-chroot,bind,and caching-nameserver.but i
couldnot find named.conf file in both /etc and /var/named/chroot/etc.
so where to write the configuration file.
please can anyone can help you.
