raspbian network hard drive permissions to download files to it

I did a quick search couldn't seem to find the answer so I will post. I finally bought a second raspi 4 have an SSD attached it boots up all is good my first raspi 4 has libreelec usingf it as my Kodi box which works great.
now I am using raspbian on the SSD and downloading torrent files but I want them to download to a networked drive. the issue I am having the Drive is mounted I can access the drive with out any issues but I cannot save any files at all to that drive. this networked drive can be accessed and used to download upload files from any of my windows PCs and laptops but not my raspi 4 I am not sure if it is the same as Linux and to be honest I haven't used Linux in a few years so I am very rusty any help would be appreciated thank you

Since you mention Windows PCs, I assume that the network drive contains Windows shares.
To access those shares, you (normally) need to provide an appropriate user name and password. This is done when mounting the drive.
Another complication is the existence of several partially incompatible SMB protocol versions. You may have to specify a particular version when mounting.

Since I don't know how you mount that drive or what distro is running on your computer, let me suggest you perform an internet search for linux access windows shares or similar to understand what you have to do.
