raspbian lxde: how to start the programm (icon) by double click?

Hello,
by clicking on an icon, it is asking me if I want to start because it was recognized as "executable".
For me is this question in a new popped-up window is not necessary, it should just start.
Is there anything to do for cancelling this window pop-up
and just the program/script to start?

Any advice is welcome. No hurry. Thats just a nice-to-have-better-looking-thing.

This removes the pop-up window in Raspbian 10 (buster):-

PCManFM file manager > Edit > Preferences > General
Tick the box "Don't ask options on launch executable file".

The setting is applied to the desktop icons as well as inside PCManFM.
