According to the Opera site, it requires an implementation of X window system. However looking around, for example in
this page, reveals that there are options (in embedded Linux anyway), one being the use of Qt/embedded with Opera. I don't personally know more about this specific thing, but if you start searching about Qt/embedded (TrollTech might be a good start), you probably find what you're looking for.
