kernel panic when booting linux-2.6.30 uImage on at91rm9200ek board
hello,
I built a uImage using the linux-2.6.30 kernel source. My toolchain is gcc (GCC) 3.2.3, coming from Sourcery_G++_Lite. My uboot is version 1.1.1 and I boot via NFS.
I'm getting a kernel panic right around the mounting of the filesystem.
my filesystem was built using Buildroot and a different toolchain (gnu 4.4.x). I realize this is not recommended to mix toolchains but I can't get a clean build of the kernel via Buildroot and gnu 4.4.x when I select the at01rm9200 default config (different post).
anything wrong with my bootargs ?
any help is welcome,
Thanks
Alex

Hi ,
Im using the at91sam9261 board. canu please let me know how did u enable the ttyS1 port? what changes do we hav to make in the board file?
warm regards,
Ravi Kulkarni.
hi. I didn't specifically enabled it, so I'd say it was by default for the 9200EK board...
By the way, I'm past my original problem. I went back a couple of kernel revs, so I'm using 2.6.28 now on which buildroot lets me apply a specific atmel patch. Kernel and NFS are running fine now. Trying to get matchbox to run now . Thanks, Alex
