Frame buffer problems on Carmine GPU and Embedded Linux

I am trying to use the Embedded Linux Kernel 2.6.25 with the Fujitsu Carmine GPU but encounter problems in display like incorrect colour and Resolution.

I suspect it to be a problem with the Frame buffer driver. Has anybody else encountered a similar problem and any suggestions on where I can get some help on it?

Thanks in advance
