Embedded system with E3950 and UEFI bios !!!!!

Hi everybody,

I have a X-file with my embedded system and GRUB.
First of all, I am user of PTXdist for create my own BSP.
In this case use a E3950 as CPU ( EUFI bios ).

Well, PTXdist use grub-0.97 and when I created the image after compile the whole system, I copied the image file to the Compact Flash ( dd command ), the E3950 tried to boot the system without sucess.
So, I tried in Legacy mode but again without sucess......

In legacy mode, grub starts but in grub rescue mode.

Any advice?

I would like to understand how to install grub2 in the compact flash, and very important, without destroy the host system.

Kind regards.

Hi everybody,

Finally I found the issue.
1.- No sense to use cross compiler
2.- Old version Grub.

Finally, with gcc from host, I compiled GRUB2 ang generate the boot.img ( for first sector ) and grub.img.
Now grub works properly.

I'm sorry to bother everyone with this stupid topic
