Any solution for live watch a variable?

Hello,

I am interesting in "watch" a variable, not watchpoint of GDB.
When I say "live watch", it is meaning that I can "watch" var without stop program.
For example, with IAR workbenck, I can debug my program and use "live watch" tool to watch variable with out stop program.

In GDB, there are many tools to watch variable, but all of them need to stop execution of program.

Any idea?

Best reagards.
John.

You could put some print statements in your code to report the value at interesting points in the program.

Hello penguiniator,

Yes, you are right, but I looking for other solution, like a professional solution.
My idea is to create a server that receive request of var's address, a return to client value of this address.

Thank you.
