[Training] Embedded Linux

Hi All,

I am interested to gain experience in embedded linux. My target is to customize linux (stip down to minimum size) and write drivers for my LCD display(serial port), wireless board (NRF24 or Lora), ... etc. I would also like to understand how the drivers and OS can be debugged.

I was looking for good resources on internet and I found youtube videos but they don't have a complete course with details or they only provide very basic information.

is there any valuable and up-to-date training/resources that anyone can recommend ?

Note: I have good experience in C/C++, GDB and version control tools

+1 #4!

IF you like books (sometimes their PDF can be found on the internet),
I've seen several about embedded Linux systems, and Linux device driver development.

How far have you gotten with what you've tried so far?
(feel free to post specific quality questions/problems)

Semi-OT: try chatGPT and let us know what you think!

I subscribed in the coursera specialization. I will let you know when I finish it.

Linux Kernel Programming: has very good Amazon rating.

Do you run virtualbox? *I* would start by: customizing a minimal kernel (for Vbox's devices)! (look into OpenWrt)

Also: https://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Emb...dp/1789530385/
(look at Amazon bestseller list)
