Unhappy Wireless Card not working in SuSE 9 Pro. (but works in live eval)

Ok, let me see if I can ask this in a way that makes sense.
I have a Proxim Orinoco PCI wireless NIC. (8482-WD)
I downloaded the SuSE 9.0 Live evaluation CD and stuck it in my pc and booted. It recognized the card, I ran through the configuration, and it worked. I could browse the internet, so on and so forth. So I got SuSE 9.0 Professional. I installed it, and it does NOT work! (frustration sets in:-()
In both the Live Eval and the Professional install, the card is set to use the module ath_pci.
When I type "lsmod" in the Live Eval, it shows

Module Size Used by
ath_pci 28752 1
wlan 40648 1 [ath_pci]
ath_hal 100992 1 [ath_pci]
(there are obviously others but I don't think they pertain to the problem at hand)

However when I type "lsmod" under the Professional installation, it shows this.

Module Size Used by
ath_pci 28752 0 (unused)
wlan 40648 1 [ath_pci]
ath_hal 100992 1 [ath_pci]

I can see that the Used by 0 (unused) is probably not right, but I don't know how to fix it.

Any ideas?

No one can think of anything?
Does anyone know of some better SuSE-centric forums where someone might have an idea?
I've personally never come accross any SuSE forums.

Only thing I can think of is that if you purchased SUSE and registered it you get support offered through them. Be sure to contact them before the support runs out. I would definitely think that is an issue they would support.

That's the kicker. I didn't pay for it.
