The fix does not work for Dell Poweredge 2650. Probably because of RAID disks.

No disks are found by "linux rescue" -- It says, "you don't have any linux partitions". And indeed /dev is very small; no sd* (and no hd* either).

To get around this when initially installing, you have to start booting off Dell's Disk Assistant CD, which then asks for the RedHat (or Windows etc) installation disks. But it doesn't seem to have a "rescue" opton.

Help would be appreciated.
