Hey guys.. here's my situation.. I usually hate these threads, but...
I want a good multimedia friendly distro for my notebook... without all the setup.. if I wanted to take the time to set it up, I'd just use slack..
However, I frequently change distro's on my notebook for whatever reason.. mostly just for testing purposes.. I was using SuSE 9.2 Pro, and it's multimedia support is fantastic, but it was awefully unstable(surprising for SuSE) and I had issues with my wireless stuff.. anyways..
I've been looking at TurboLinux, I know it's been around for quite a long time, based out of Japan.. The one I've been looking at m ostly is "TurboLinux F..." as it is made specifically for multimedia friendly stuff... DVD watching, and whatnot.. It's like $60 or so.. so I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with it.. it seems really cool.. but I'd like to know how package management and stuff is...
P.S. - Don't suggest other distro's because I've tried most of them.. I'm specifically asking for TurboLinux only... however you are welcome to talk about experiences with any fork of TurboLinux.. thanks guys!!
