switching mouse button won't take effect/switching language won't apply/zukitwo theme looking rough
I am running Antergos (based on arch) with GNOME 3. For some reason, after upgrading as I usually do, those problems appeared. In the particular case of zukitwo theme (which came by default) I could temporary solve it by changing it to adwaita. Windows had no borders, cancel/ok buttons where messed up within dialog boxes, etc. Regarding mouses' primary button, I both tried changing it via config and dconf editor without results. Language has been a problem for a while, in fact, that issue popped up long ago in a system upgrade different from the one which caused the other two issues. I've followed this steps without success https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/locale
It seems that this issue (or bug?) is directly related to archlinux os. and derivatives, since I experienced it both in Antergos and Manjaro, but not in Sabayon, all of them in the same system but different partitions. There was no way I could use the mouse as left-handed. I finally came round to the solution by simply creating a non-extension file: ~/.Xmodmap . Then editing with gedit (or similar) so that it looks like this: pointer = 3 2 1
Reboot and problem solved.
