When installing SuSE 8 it reports my hard drive bigger than it really is, it formats to this size and even upon reboot I get a message from the BIOS saying something changed( and the HD size changed). After turning off the computer and turning back on the screen comes up again saying something changed(The size changes back to normal),
I narrowed it down to the kernel option "Automatic Geometry Resizing", if I take that off it works fine. However, I want to know how to fix it before installing since it messes up the partition table.
BTW SuSE 7.2 works flawlessly.
I have SUSE 8 Pro
