Hello Everyone,

I have a Gateway 600 YG2 laptop that I have installed various distros on at one time or another, and I keep coming back to Xandros for it's simplicity and exellent file manager.

Earlier this year I installed Xandros Deluxe v.3.0 and everything went great. Later after re-formatting and re-partitioning the hd, I'm having trouble installing X-OS 3.0 again. Other distros will install and boot wiout hitch.
I have downloaded another iso, and tried it 3 more times, all with the same results. It gets to 90% , "Configuring Runtime System" and stops. Both the orginal CD and the self-burned iso cd(s) yield the same results.

Can anyone help??

**editing** There is a bios adjustment you might be able to make, per the Xandros forums.

Xandros Configuring Runtime Error

I tried to make that adjustment on my computer when I tried to install Xandros a couple of months ago, but the bios on my computer didn't let me make the adjustment.

I'll do a little more research when I get home... Hopefully you can make the bios adjustment that I couldn't...
