I found out that if you mirror your boot drive with raid 1 for fast recovery after hda fails then LILO won't work, you have to use GRUB. GRUB is the only one I have found that will work on a raid setup.

Yeah i feel the same, although i have not used lilo yet. But i use grub now to boot RH 8.0 and win98se. It works fine for me.
