I'm using the newest version of PClinuxos right now and it is NICE. First distro I've used which had my mouse working right from the get go. Easy to install and easy to install nvidia drivers. I'm keeping this one. PClinuxos is close competition to Mepis and Kanotix.

Don't know what the problem might be on your box, or my own, but I've tried PCLinuxOS many times as new versions would be released and none of them have ever worked properly on any of my computers.

I'm not knocking the distro, though, because I've read that it's working wonderfully well for many users. I'm happy that it's there for them.

Hope it works out for you, too!
