Hi,
I am trying to use the above sound card on Kubuntu 7.10. The card is known to the system when I cat /proc/asound/cards with card#2. The on board sound card has card#0 and can be seen in KMix. I am using Edirol U15 digital speakers with optical line out from the Edirol UA-25. Snb-usb-audio is listed when I issue lsmod. I need to know what additional configuration I have to carry out in order for the Edirol UA-25 to function properly and take precedence over the on board sound card.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Because I am a newbie and before I start messing with files, do you mean I can edit the file you referenced and rearrange the order so that the UA-25 is assigned #0..?
