i have mandrake 8.0 on lnx4win on cosole mode and looking for a c compier to writte compile execute all in console mode but i dont know what to download and install?

sorry your rigth it is not a good title , i asked cause i only can get to console mode and i donīt know how to work with it how would i writte and compile a progam with cc from console mode?
where can i get some informaction about the comands to do it?
