Aight, I love how the knoppix live comes preinstalled with java and flash and some other small things. I am currently using (K)ubuntu. I was want to make the switch from (K)ubuntu to Knoppix. I think there's a few things I need to get cleared up.
Where can I get a Knoppix install disk.
Can I take off the recently used programs list?
Is this a debian based distro?
The Knoppix Live-CD is a fantastic tool and I keep one on hand at all times, but when it comes to hard drive installation, I have to agree with samael26 and recommend the pure Debian install.
I guess I never thought of Knoppix as a pure live cd. I just thought it was some over bloated distro that is only usefull from a live session. I just like it because it works perfect with all my devices.
Anyway, I guess I'm just going to try to rip the java off the cd and stick with my Kubuntu.
TY for the advice
Kanotix 2005-3, which is based on Knoppix. I am very impressed with it
and it was pretty easy to install to my hard drive. After the live cd loads and you are at the desktop,go in the konsole and type knoppix-installer, then
hit enter and off you go.

Or you could use Mepis, which is an install distro that's Knoppix-based.
