Unhappy Install Problem


When Trying to install Jamd Linux
I type
Advanced <ENTER>

then I get this

Code:
Invalid Compressed Format (err2) <6> freeing Initrd Memory: 2543K Freed
VFS: Cannot Open Root Device =" " Or 48:05
Please Append A Correct "root=" Boot Option
Kernel Panic : VFS : Unable to Mount Root FS on 48:05

It may be mean the installation media is broken. Is it possible to test it with another machine or check md5 of the image?
