Photo Slideshow Screensaver

I am new to Linux & have Linux MX. I would like to set a photo slideshow screensaver but have been unable to figure out how to do it. Any suggestions that a new user could try? When I click on Photopile, it states "not installed."

I am not familiar with the software install system for MX, but if it offers you Hydrapaper. Hydrapaper is a good wallpaper utility that helps you have different wallpapers on multiple monitors and also can allow random wallpapers from a directory or source.

Go into screensaver settings and see if one of the screensavers has that functionality. It should. If not, install additional screensavers, e.g. one of these packages:
Code:
xscreensaver-data, xscreensaver-data-extra, xscreensaver-gl, xscreensaver-gl-extra

Oops, my brain read wallpaper, not screensaver!
