midnight commander date format setting YYYY:MM:DD HH:MM:SS

how do I tell MC to display file create/access/modifiy time in the iso format:

YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS

editing ./mc/ini section [misc] does not change anything.

I'm running MC Version 4.7.5.3 on OpenSuse 12.1

thanks !

Hi,

Please note that in newer mc versions, settings are stored in ~/.config/mc/ini. Use something like:
Code:
timeformat_recent=%Y:%b:%e %H:%M:%S
to display the date the way you like.

Regards

There is even a shorter one to solve this: timeformat_recent=%F %T
%F is the ISO date format but with dashes between YYYY MM and DD and %T gives HH:MM:SS
