FLV player for linux???? please help


Hello friends, how you all doing.
Well i need to know wheather there is an software to play .flv(flash) video files downloaded. I have downloaded some of the files and cant play or i rather dont know how to. So if theres any player available for suse 10.1(kde-3.5) then please provide the link if not kindly guide me.

mplayer and xine should work (they do for me, at least). Kaffeine is the front end to xine in KDE, so I would try that first.

Mplayer, xine, and Kaffeine are found in the Packman repositories.

hey i use suse 10.1, but i tried to play with kaffiene and xine but no use. well i think u have installed some kinda libraries or codecs or plugins so that xine n kaffeine are playin for u. well if so plz let me know thos codecs links

works for me using mplayer!

I compiled mplayer 1.7 from source (www.mplayerhq.com) and it plays .flv files neatly.

VLC Player

There is VLC Player which supports many formats, including FLV.
