Conky appears distorted when run from ~/.fluxbox/startup

My Conky for some reason looks messed up unless I run it from a Terminal.

Here are a couple of screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/JGAHh

The first is what Conky looks like when started automatically.

The second is what it looks like after I `killall conky` and launch conky from the Terminal.

My ~/.fluxbox/startup: http://pastebin.com/gNJmeWUT

My ~/.conkyrc: http://pastebin.com/QDyWhSn0

Try conky with the built-in "sleep" command in ~/.fluxbox/startup

Code:
conky --help
should show you the parameters.

Might be conky -s <integer>

it's "conky -p <int>", so for 5 seconds delay: "conky -p 5 &"

Thanks. I wasn't about to install it to find out.

I have recovered from conky-itis.
