Recomended hardware for Linux Deepin 2014?

While I dought that the deepin devlopers will read this I wll ask it any way how bloated is deeping 2014 going to be? Mint and ubuntu both have had huge preformance issues do to gnome 3 changes and I was woundering if the same thing has happened to DDE as whell.

As I understand it, DI 2014 its own in-house Desktop written I believe, in Qt. It is by far the quickest install of any distro I've used over 10+ years. However, because it is written in-house and is unique to Deepin, there are a few teething issues with it. It is well worth persisting with because these guys come up with genuinely innovative approach that you won't see in other distros.
